MY RITUELLE RECIPE OF THE WEEK | Ginger Cabbage Cleanse Soup by Kimberly Snyder
This soup has become a staple in my house (and my teenage daughter's even ask me to make it) because it warms the soul, nourishes your body, and tastes delicious. Both cabbage are nutrient-dense, filled with vitamins and phytochemical that contain anticancer properties. I like to substitute colorful carrots for the zucchini, but that is just my preference - do what you love and tell me how you like it!

1. In a large stockpot, melt the coconut oil over medium heat. Add the cabbage, celery, and zucchini, and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
2. Add the vegetable broth, bay leaves, and ginger, and bring to a boil; lower the heat to a simmer and cook, uncovered, for about 15 minutes. Season with sea salt and pepper.
